Quiconque Claques 22 at 5pm
Gumboots
Quiconque Claques is a dose of Africa in your galoshes and a heat wave in winter. It’s about our hopes for a better world. Come watch and hear them raise a ruckus, all before midnight.

Twisted Flames 23 at 5pm
Sébastien Allard and Akian Gaudet
Two hooligans? Or two prodigious talents? Clear the way, the Twisted Flames shake things up. They combine dance, instruments and the martial arts to electrifying effect. You’ll be won over by their style and charisma. No, you’re not dreaming.

Magic! Smouldering embers! O what feminine energy in those hot dances! Our favourite Viking goddesses are back this year to turn up the heat on Berri Square. With fire and passion, Les Walkyries will simply illuminate you!

IntOrchao 25 at 5pm and 7pm at the Banquet
Rebecca Halls & Julia Harnad
Intorchao takes you into a hypnotic, festive, acrobatic and futurist realm of Circassian dance. Beware! Their strange synergy of hula hoops, urban dance and pyrotechnics will give you the magic bug!

Les Rescapés du Bataclan 26 at 5pm
Céline Chevrier et David Babin
Among the ruins of Earth’s demise, an ageless, homeless musician meets the guardian of the last flame. Together, they seek their past and share their search with you in their twisted idiom of fire, poetry and theatre.

Dawish 25 at 3pm
David Fizet
A guy and his magical universe. He drops by État d’Urgence again this year to twirl a dreamscape for you. His tools include juggling, a unicycle and lots of nice little doodads, all to make you feel like a kid and smile like the sun.

Les thématiques flambées everyday from 8:30pm
(or “1,001 excuses for starting a fire”)
A pyro-artistic collective
Every evening at 8:30, we turn loose the Twisted Flames, The Walkyries and the Rescapés du Bataclan, who pool their talents to offer up unique, fiery entertainment. Each evening is different because each show features a different zany theme: in-bred families, getting high, workplace alienation, and more. The audience will most assuredly enjoy themselves as much as the performers. Scorching!
