Funambules médias will provide guidance to young videomakers from Next-Gen NDG as the latter produce themed capsules that are edited on-the-spot in the Club du Milieu and then presented as openers for Cinéma Politica’s screenings.

NEXT-GEN NDG
A project run by the À deux mains / Heads and Hands organization to help marginalized out-of-school youth who are having difficulty in finding employment. Five-month-long workshops focus on video production, editing, and Web and graphic design, as well as community volunteer work. The goal of the project is to develop skills and encourage personal and professional growth, in addition to contributing to community development.
Télé Sans Frontières
Allows young people aged 18 to 30 to discover and experiment with video and radio, giving them an opportunity to produce films and radio shows with a social theme. www.telesansfrontieres.com

A brilliant tragicomedy by Werner Herzog on what happens when the American dream turns into a nightmare. Presented as part of Hans Winkler’s Survival Guide project, in collaboration with the Goethe-Institut.
