ATSA PRESENTS CABO
The CABO intervention which uses art to reflect on our own relationship with the brown bin was a great success !
15 Montreal artists and 15 families from the Plateau-Mont-Royal were brought together for the creation of an exhibition which was held from September 17 to 26 on Place des Fleurs-de-Macadam. 46 families then mobilized during the day of artistic intervention on September 26 in order to turn the brown bin into a work of art.
> Find all the photos of this magnificent day on our Facebook page.
> If you didn't have the chance to participate in the CABO workshops and would like to join the Organic Bin Lovers Club by transforming your compost bin into a work of art at home, we invite you to download the kit " do it yourself "
HAPPY HOLIDAYS!
Dear friends,
What an intense year! A yo-yo year that we had to overcome by adaptating and learning, resilience... It is not over yet, but we are starting to think that we will be able to hug each other sometime in 2021...
BRIEF ASSESSMENT 2020
Despite several local and international cancellations, ATSA was able to keep its entire team at work by:
1-Adapting Cuisine ton quartier with the recording of 105 in-person interviews in 7 Montreal boroughs, currently being edited, which we will launch in the spring of 2021!
2- Creating CABO, the Club des Amoureux des Bacs Organiques (the Club for Lovers of Organic Bins) in partnership with the Plateau Mont-Royal Borough, in collaboration with Frédérique P. Corson and a great team of artists and citizens! We also suggest you make a spring gift by getting the "do-it-yourself kit" HERE!
3- Setting up Le Temps d'une Soupe: de la rue au musée, an exhibition at the Biennal Nationale de scultpure contemporaine at Trois-Rivières.
All the while working remotely, yes indeed!
We would like to sincerely thank the different Arts Councils and our partners BINAM and MIFI for their support, listening and proximity.
THANK YOU FOR HELPING US TO BUILD 2021 WITH CONFIDENCE!
MAKE A ONE-TIME OR MONTHLY DONATION!
2021 will be exciting and already needs your donations !!!
Yes, supporting your favorite cultural organization is a great sign of trust and we thank you for it!

Yes, we are indeed fundraising for the third edition of Cuisine ta Ville, which will take place once again at the Place des Festivals, on May 2021! Having been granted the 2019 YMCA Peace Medal, we are renewing our biennial to create a universe that connects the general public, refugees and immigrants, those who help them, and artists who are inspired by immigration issues. This year we will install and artwork and installation itirenary while addressing and highlighting issues around means of transportation and mourning. This year we have all experienced it, including the mourning of not being able to see our loved ones as we wish. We have also been locked down and therefore unable to travel. These two topics are the sub-theme, the premise of Cuisine ta ville 2021! We will get moving!
THANK YOU FOR ENCOURAGING “CUISINE TA VILLE 2021” NOW!
Wishing everyone a restful Holiday, go outside, call your loved ones and especially those who are alone... Let's love each other with simple but strong actions.
Annie and the ATSA team, Alfonso, Catherine, Philippine, Perrine, Lazeni, Julien, Manu, Jean-François, Fred, Nazarreno, Danièle, Domlebo, Ana, Carminda ... send you our kindest regards!
HAPPY HOLIDAYS!
