Montréal en marge is a two-hour bus tour exploring various facets of the phenomenon of marginality, its role in the process of social change, and its close ties to the development of urban centres. From the old Quai des Enfants trouvés to Place Émilie-Gamelin, from the underground caves of the old port’s storage facilities to today’s Viger Square, the tour explores 350 years of social exclusion, repression and social deviance, but also of compassion and solidarity with those living on the fringes... on the street.

L’Autre Montréal is an organization devoted to popular education and training. Through exploration of our city’s architecture, it attemps to interpret the development of our society and understand the social and urban planning issues affecting the city’s different neighbourhoods.

Caroline Bernier Dionne and Élise Lessard-Mercierplan some unexpected appearances with their puppet. They play the characters Félicité and Victoire, a young couple with good reason to feel fulfilled. For this very morning, a small being has entered their lives! Who is this creature? A small being, totally green, totally strange too... Their feelings overcome their reason, however, and they quickly grow attached to the newcomer. “Hey you, congratulate me! Victoire! We’ve finally got ourselves a baby!” In the midst of their desire to simply be themselves, to fulfill a dream, and the fear of being judged, these two radiant women have finally gotten what they’ve wanted for so long: a baby.
