Theatrical intervention troupe Mise au jeu comprises multidisciplinary artists using games and theatrical expression as means for achieving communication, education and dialogue, all with an eye toward improving the quality of the social fabric. Through its brand of customized interactive theatre, Mise au jeu sheds light on the issues facing community organizations working in the fields of aid, human rights defense and others, to help such groups explore options for concrete solutions. Drawing on image theatre and circus arts, Mise au jeu will present short, spontaneous multidisciplinary interventions that will inspire citizens to speak up on the topic of begging.

Toxique Trottoir’s past shows include La Famille Botero, Les Poupées, La Grosse, Les Esthéticiennes de l’âme, Tête de clone and Le Musée des vieux animaux québécois. Since Summer 2008, small, strange and unpredictable creatures have sprung up across Quebec. Les vidanges en cavale is a young theatre company born of a desire to use theatre as a tool for effecting social change. Just back from Peru, the collective provides theatre workshops to youth. For État d'Urgence, two characters will traverse the site by foot, presenting 20-minute comical capsules.
